A week after ITN stalwart Mark Austin announced his departure, another big figure is in the departure lounge. Deputy Editor Tim Singleton (RGS High Wycombe and Leeds) will leave Gray's Inn Road at the end of the year, after 18 years' service.
Also on her way (to Sky) at the end of the year is Channel 5 News editor Cristina Nicolotti Squires. She's just led this week's transfer of operations to a new newsroom and studio in the ITN building, leaving their previous home in the Northern and Shell HQ. Might she re-think, now there's a new tasty vacancy ?
