Hyper-active

The BBC's Executive Board met in June, and the minutes reveal two decisions taken in three and a half hours. The first was to approve the previous minutes; the second to approve the Executive section of the Annual Report.

The remainder of the time available, we are told, weas spent on 'updates'. BBC Social Media Editor Mark Frankel got to show off 'innovation' in front of the Board. The minutes make no mention of "Newstream", now past its first birthday as a BBC-endorsed concept.  There was no minuted conversation about Bake-Off.
