Pants

Congratulations to Christine Langan of BBC Films, heading out of Broadcasting House to Soho, where she'll become CEO of Baby Cow Productions, set up by Steve Coogan and Henry Normal in 1999. Henry left in April, and BBC Worldwide decided to up their share in the company from 25% to 73%, and might be expected to take a keen interest in the CEO selection.

BBC Films celebrated its 25th Anniversary this year, but that's the only stat mentioned about its operations and finances in the Annual Report. Which is surprising. Will BBC Films 'chairman' Alan Yentob lead the hunt for a successor to Christine ?

In other news, Brand Yentob now has a pair of blue leisure trousers, on show at the Frost family summer party on Monday. This presumably gives him time to wash and iron the red pair.
