Imagine US cable viewers flicking channels for new cultural experiences this weekend. Ah, BBC America. Bowler hats, classy drama, guitar pop, red phone boxes, lovable Cockneys, warm beer - and peak time runs for The Matrix back catalogue, and Mel Gibson's 2006 turkey Apocalypto.

Bringing the UK to the world and the world to the UK.

Meanwhile, in the New York Times, a warm review for BBC hit drama, Doctor Foster, carried on the Lifetime Channel, without a mention of the BBC who commissioned it.....
