Shift work

The Night Manager took charge of the 9pm Sunday drama battle, watched by 6.01m (27.2% share) according to the overnight figures; it's been adding close to 2m an episode on catch-up. Doctor Thorne came in second, with 4m (13.5%) including those who watched it a tad later on the +1 service denied to the BBC by the Trust. Indian Summers was watched by 3m (6%) again including +1, just ahead of the the very-much-cheaper Let's Play Darts for Sport Relief, on 1.22m (5.5%).

So good you'll watch it twice - Countryfile, last night largely made up of items you'd seen before (one three years' old) was watched by 1.92m (33.8%). On ITV Beowulf dropped to 1.0m, excluding HD and +1).
