It's a week since Peter Salmon decided to swim upstream to Endemol Shine, and there's no sign of an ad for a replacement to lead BBC Studios. The recruitment process that ended up with insider Pete in charge closed in April last year; was someone marked, in BBC HR parlance, "also suitable" ?
The full business case for BBC Studios to become a commercial subsidiary is due before the BBC Executive this month.
