Gizzus a job

Just a month now til BBC chair Rona Fairhead steps down as an independent non-executive director of HSBC - where she's been since 2004. This could leave a sizeable hole in the Fairhead household income - £524k came in during 2015, and she has accumulated 77,000 shares (though they're not doing wonderfully well compared with 2004).

What might be nice could be an offer to be the first non-executive chair of the BBC's first unitary board. You can't say she wouldn't be independent, with all those chiding letters she's written to John Whittingdale to get on with it.
