Apercu

I think I should share more widely today's thoughts from Mail columnist Sarah Vine, in case readers never get as far as the Femail section.

The report on Camila Batmanghelidjh’s Kids Company fiasco proves the more preposterous you are, the easier it is to con people.

Step forward Alan Yentob — who as well as persuading the BBC to finance his lavish lifestyle over the past decade has, as chairman of Kids Company, also attempted to bluster and, in the words of the report ‘intimidate’ his way out of assuming any of the blame for the charity’s catastrophic management. The bigger the beast, it seems, the bigger the mess they leave behind.
