Strictly Media 2015 - 5

No-one wants to leave Strictly Media 2015, but the show must go on.

5 Rebekah Brooks and Lord Leveson

Brian, from Liverpool, and Becky, from Warrington, on paper, could both dance around subjects without really getting to the bottom of anything. All we really learned from their previous encounters was that Becky, in the past, had fandango-ed with more than one partner at the same time. She took time out in the States with the world's Number 1 tap dancer Rupert Murdoch, and many expected her twinkling toes and coy gaze to grace the US stage for years to come. Lord Leveson was surprised as anyone when Rebekah found her way back into the UK to qualify for the 2015 competition unchallenged. "Tell me about it".

She focussed her efforts in Round One, leading Brian through a difficult mambo. "A hard drive", said one judge - Lord Leveson's "hold" was the only weakness.

In the end, Rebekah lost the audience by actually texting various politicians during the Round 5 waltz, to a syncopated version of Blondie's "Hanging On The Telephone". Odd how a woman who once knew so little about how mobile phones worked has now become a social media expert back at News UK. Rebekah and Rupert held their own series wrap party, and invited all their old friends from pre-Leveson days back. For them, the contest was the merest of interludes.
