Another great viewing figure for Strictly, with the Sunday result show attracting an average of 10.8m (45.2% of the available audience) in the overnight figures.
The XFactor scored 6.8m, with Countryfile even further ahead this weekend - at 7.6m. As somebody on one of the tv forums wrote "That Countryfile figure is excellent. Whoever at the Beeb decided to move it from lunchtime to evenings made a good choice". I can supply an answer, at least as to who suggested the move, on a postcard to any interested reader.
