BBC TV boss Danny Cohen revealed to a union session last week that he'd been to the LA Screenings, where US networks and programme makers pitch their upcoming offerings to buyers from around the world.
The number of BBC execs in attendance at this event is always entertaining, as the BBC Trust has, over the years, sought to reduce spend on US buy-ins. But Danny needs new Saturday night stuff - and putting two and two together, it's entirely possible he's been attracted by ABC's 'reboot' of the Muppet Show.
