Controller BBC1 Danny Cohen gets a write-up in Haaretz as a runner in the 2012 DG Stakes. Here's Danny's job, described by Danny.

But the thing is that when you run a channel, you do not watch the television of today. Rather, you are busy watching the future - the television of next year."
I am not yet adding him to my short-list. The Voice is currently too high-risk for condemnation by Fleet Street, audiences and Lord Patten as "What ? Another one ?"
