Broadcast reports that "Don't Scare the Hare", a ticking-time-bomb of turkey left by Jay Hunt for new BBC1 Controller, Danny Cohen, will not be coming back. Average audience after three shows is 1.86m - and it's already been moved away from Dr Who, in an attempt not to frighten sci-fi-fans away.
It's an Endemol production, and one of the first shows to be recorded at the new MediaCityUK studios in Salford Quays; nine shows were shot, with recording starting at the end of January. But the pilot was made in London back in September 2009. To be precise, 8th September at TVC. Jay Hunt's move to Channel 4 was announced on 14th September 2010. A little naughty, perhaps ?
