Triumphal

Ah, tv. The salivating prospect of an extra £600m to invest in "quality" has even got to Jana Bennett, with a blog post "BBC's quality shines at RTS Awards".

She celebrates a prize for Charlie Brooker's Newswipe by acknowledging he's got "something to say about our media today". Largely about formulaic news output from BBC News, for which she is not responsible, and for which she does not hold the very large budget.

After further lengthy quality references, she describes the joy of an evening sitting between Armando Iannucci and Miranda Hart. Uncannily, they both picked up awards.
