It's over

Phew. That's over now. Who to blame for Stranded On Honeymoon Island ?  We don't yet have the overnights for the final episode on BBC1, but the previous four this week failed to beat Channel 5's 9pm offerings.  

So is the failure at the door of the commissioners or the schedulers ?   Senior commissioner was Kalpna Patel Knight. The scheduling must have been agreed at the time of commissioning, given the format and likely price. Was learning from Australia too late ?  The Seven Network commissioned a version earlier this year, and had to shift it out of prime time after just three episodes.  Their costs have been put at £7m; the BBC is rumoured to have paid £5m.
