Incomplete

We missed two BBC connections in the Honours List: An OBE for Dharshini David, for services to economics. 

And an MBE for retired foreign news cameraman Eric Thirer, now resident in Manhattan, for services to International Broadcasting. He's devoted plenty of time in New York to the Westside Community Garden (123 W 89th St, between Columbus and Amsterdam) where he's been a board member and maintenance director. 

One of Eric's 16mm cameras, used in Cambodia, Vietnam and Africa, is in a special collection at the Science Museum.
