Trajectory

If getting all 50 to 60 year-olds jabbed is a condition of easing lockdown, it might take four weeks. There are 9.07m across the UK. We've probably already vaccinated around 300k of this group, as either key workers or vulnerable or just "we had some doses left over". The current weekly rate is around 2.5m vaccinations - and the over 50s should be generally more mobile, and able to get to the full range of centres.

I'm guessing the debate will be around the impact of re-opening schools on March 8. The cautious will ask for four weeks to see if that causes a rise in infections. The champing at the bit group may say other relaxations can follow just a week later.
