The BBC's former editor-in-chief Mark Thompson has invested in The New European. This will add fuel to the fires burning inside those who believe that under his leadership, Auntie turned a deliberate blind eye to country's obvious hunger for a sovereignty upgrade.
Mark was DG from 2004 to September 2012. The word "Brexit" was first coined in May 2012. Nigel Farage made 17 appearances on the Question Time panel during Mark's tenure.
