All change

I'm still checking the records, but it's possible that last night was the first time Huw Edwards has read the news at ten o'clock wearing a green tie. [Unrelated - jacket button a tad tight ?]

The old order is crumpling - for a time, for both politicians and news readers, a very dark jacket, white shirt and red tie was the order of the day. Even Jeremy Corbyn adopted it. Now Boris Johnson has acquired a grey suit, occasionally pressed. Huw has gradually adopted charcoal. Keir Starmer is moving to suit colours last seen in Avatar. 

Where will it end ?
