At BBC World Service, a service of bulletins has been maintained, despite a solid newsroom walk-out - and, I'm told, most of the language services managed to keep the meter moving.
At Five Live, where Danny Baker is missing for treatment, first stand-in Alan Davies was very clear that he wouldn't cross picket lines; so now Suggs has been booked for today's show.
There may be just a handful of managers and editors doing all this, but they still find time to browse. 16 per cent of my visitors yesterday were from BBC networks...
