Sally Osman, 57, (Solihull 6th Form College and LL.B Exeter), a former reputation-minder for Greg Dyke and Mark Thompson at the BBC, is leaving her role as the first ever Director of Royal Communications. She took the new job in 2014, in what was a clear attempt to end the tensions between various separate PR operations. However, the wedding of Harry and Meghan was not an unalloyed success at the fringes.
