When Fran says 'Jump', it's just a question of how high.

At Radio 4's venerable World Tonight, there's a creeping escape onto the airwaves of 'music features', presumably to an attract an audience beyond pensioners and the voluntarily and involuntarily bedridden.

This Thursday, presenter Jamie Coomarasamy interviewed Xylouris White, a duo playing what they called 'goatish music' on a combination of the Cretan lute and drums (last featured by the BBC on 6Music). The authors of the spoof career of Brian Perm couldn't have done better. Listen from 40.19.
