Banned

The wheels of The Insolvency Service are turning, if slowly. Yesterday Sunetra Atkinson 56, formerly married to Rowan, became the first director of collapsed charity Kids Company to be disqualified as a company director. Her ban lasts two-and-half years from 18th May. She admitted that she had “caused or allowed Kids Company to operate an unsustainable business model”. The disqualification, accepted by business secretary Greg Clark, will come into effect from 18 May - it may have been shorter than the maximum 15 years because of her admission. As well as Kids Company, she's listed as company secretary of Hindmeck Ltd, providing the creative services of Rowan and Sunetra.

The Insolvency Service has confirmed it's continuing disqualification proceedings against former Kids Co chief executive Camila Batmanghelidjh as well as former directors Erica Jane Bolton, Richard Gordon Handover, Vincent Gerald O’Brien, Francesca Mary Robinson, Jane Tyler, Andrew Webster and Alan Yentob.
