Thorough ?

Using all my digits and more, I reckon it's nearly 21 months since the Charity Commission and the Insolvency Service launched investigations into the collapse of Kids Company.

It now seems possible that we'll get a new musical on the palaver before any official conclusion - or, maybe, Camila Batmanghelidjh's book on the subject, promised for 2017 by Ian Dale's Biteback publishing operation.

The Charity Commission's CEO Paula Sussex (“We were on the curve of Kids Company pretty quickly" August 2016) ends her three-year term in June, with, as yet, no sign of a replacement. The Government's Insolvency Service is led by Sarah Albon; according to the National Audit Office, £46m of Kids Company funding came from the Government.
