"Herograms" have been a management tool in BBC News for decades - memos and now emails from thankful bosses to frontline staff for outstanding work. Current Newsgathering head honcho Jonathan C Munro has turned the tool into a rotomondade art form, with the end of each month listing triumph after triumph by the staff "J" has so astutely selected. I believe this month's missive, difficult to read on an empty stomach, celebrates no fewer than 49 hacks and their various production staff. In most other journalistic establishments, it would be quicker to list those whose work hasn't been up to scratch....
