Caroline Thomson this month joins the list of former BBC executives heading to Oxford. Alas, no comfy college quarters for the DG-manque; she's joining the board of trustees at Oxfam, headquartered in an office-block just across from the architecturally-insignificant Oxford Retail Park in Cowley.
In October she steps up to chair the organisation.
