Help needed

As BBC World News recovers from its 24-hour strike on Thursday/Friday, and the radio newsroom prepares for the management imposition of shift changes, and the BBC News Channel awaits the verdict of the BBC Executive on its future, and traditional 'unpredictability' allowances are under threat, and, and....

It's no surprise the HR team are looking for additional help. You could be the BBC's new Human Resources Business Partner, Union/Industrial Relations, London, reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, Union/Employee Relations. You will, "on a day to day basis, manage and run current industrial relations (IR) machinery framework for the BBC in order to facilitate effective relationships and timely decision making to guarantee business delivery and a positive ER climate".

You will be on a "continuing contract to primarily focus on the News Group industrial relations." Dancing past the split infinitive, it nice to know it's a permanent job - better than the prospect facing many BBC hacks, I fear.
