I am reminded that Culture Minister Ed Vaizey told the Sun that the votes of 124,000 people to name a research ship Boaty McBoatface should be taken into account by fellow Minister Jo Johnson.
“I think trust in politics is going down and we have to respect the will of the people, and I think Jo should agree that it is called Boaty McBoatface.”
Just remind me, how many people told the DCMS to leave the BBC alone ?
