She reports he's been on a seminar/party/cruise trip at the expense of oddfish Paul Allen, often billed as 'co-founder' of Microsoft. 250 guests were flown to Singapore, then visited Vietnam, Brunei and Malaysia over 12 days. Other guests included Nick Mason of Pink Floyd and Bryan Ferry, in what the Mail bills as a "rock stars and scientists bash".
