What does digital success look like ?   Here's a chart from the latest Reuters Institute for Journalism report, using survey data to give percentages of those questioned in a range of countries about their use of various online brands.

You'd think a lead of 34% over their nearest rival would give the BBC pleasure. Not so the BBC Trust, where, in their latest published minutes, members opined "that, while the BBC had a strong, clear digital strategy in place, the full impact had yet to be seen and felt, noting in particular that BBC Online’s reach at 50% had not grown in several years.
