The penultimate episode of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell drifted down to 1.6m viewers in the overnights. 3.5 million Antique Roadshow viewers left BBC1.
ITV's latest Sheridan Smith vehicle, Black Work, attracted three times as many viewers as the costumed magicians. C4's Humans scored twice as many.
