Some odds and ends missed from the Honours List missed on first pass.

Elizabeth Wright, who worked for the World Service from 1984 to 2003, rising to Head of the Chinese Service and Head of the Asia Pacific Region, has been awarded the CMG for services to the understanding of China.

Carole Stone, who started with the BBC as a newsroom secretary and rose to produce Any Questions ? for ten years, is made a CBE for services to market research and charity. Her networking operation is now part of YouGov; she's married to former Panorama reporter Richard Lindley.

Ed Richards, who once beavered away on BBC Strategy with James Purnell, can also add CBE to his style, for his work at Ofcom.  Perhaps some consolation for his wife Delyth Evans, former BBC reporter, failing to unseat the Tory for Labour in Camarthen West and South Pembrokeshire.
