Culture Secretary John Whittingdale will have Heather Wheeler, MP for Derbyshire South at his side as Parliamentary Private Secretary.
Heather, 56, was first elected in 2010, and started this year's campaign from a hospital bed, where she was treated for a "resilient infection". Out and about she was joined by the former incumbent, Edwina Currie.
Heather voted against the same sex marriage bill in 1973, as did her boss.
